A little update

Today we have our NT scan. We have a very healthy and large baby growing inside my wife (measuring 13w5d when I'm only 12w4d), HR was 159, and risks for downs syndrome is very low. Baby was bouncing around like crazy and stubborn like mommy and didn't want to let us get a picture of the nasal bone. Amy was so happy and relieved that She cried during the scan.

After that we spent the day walking around the fair and enjoying being just a couple like old time.  We always joke that we never go on dates but today I think we did!!!! :):)

    My wife cried at the first one too.  And the second one, and the last one....

    The first one was pure relief that the baby was healthy.  The second one was probably for the same reason.

    The last one was because in the profile she thought the baby looked like me.

    Congrats on the great exam.  I am not surprised you went on a little "date".  Something about those moments remind us about why we are together and how we are filled with love for one another.  Sounds like a great time!!

    Enjoy these upcoming days....the rollercoster ride of the third trimester is closer than you think:-)
