My parents are so hard to buy for, and I always have a hard time coming up with ideas for them. I always ask them what they want, but they can never give me an answer. I always like to try and get my parents a little more because they always do so much for us, but Im just having a harder time this year trying to figure out what to get. Help with ideas please! Thanks!!
Re: What are you getting your parents and in-laws for Christmas?
My mom - a vanity license plate, Bean.E (my kids call her Beanie)
My dad - a coat that my sister and I bought last year on clearance (for like $15) at Tommy. We'll add some booze to the pockets, and some scratch tickets to the other pocket and done.
My MIL --- she wanted this wooden two seater rocker thing (think old couple!) so we split that with my SIL and got that for her.
My FIL -- gloves, new pocket knife and whatever else Joe thinks of.
Mom: Portable DVD player
Dad: Buffalo meat sampler (don't ask)
MIL/FIL: Maryland crabcakes; chipping in on group gift of new washer/dryer
Webcams are good for grandparents, if they don't already have one.
my dad = an electronic translator (he has a couple of spanish-speaking employees and knows no spanish whatsoever)
my stepmom = an uppercase living thing for her wall and not sure what else
my mom = one of those fire pit things you can put on your deck
il's = wine fridge and wine
My parents - nothing. We draw names and we did not get them.
My FIL - probably a Visa gift card.
My parents: A new DVD players, since theirs is junk and barely works.
MIL: Photo mousepad of DD. (That's all DH wanted to give her, so whatever.)
My parents: Photobook with pictures of them and DS made on Shutterfly with quotes about grandparents, and a GC to the movies.
ILs: GC to movies and restaurant (the never eat at home, so it's what they really wanted!)
