Just got back from our SECOND attempt at a 4d ultrasound..

On Tuesday DH and I went in for a 3d / 4d ultrasound. Baby girl was head down, and face first into the placenta. Oh, and she was dead asleep - after kicking the cr*p out of me on the entire ride there. There was NO waking this little one.

We tried EVERYTHING (Orange Juice, walking around, cold water and a candy bar) to get her to move her little face to the right or left, but no dice. We  set up a 2nd appointment for today (at no cost) to see if she'd cooperate better. 

Today of course, she was moving A TON; however she also had BOTH hands and BOTH feet in front of her face like a little boneless gymnast. And each time she moved it was simply to change positions of her hands & feet, so that we still wouldn't see her sweet little face.

We are going back next Friday for try #3. What a stubborn little one we have, already! I'm really thankful we went to such a great facility that is allowing us to keep trying; at least it isn't money wasted ($130!).

    awe :( maybe you gotta do the juice on the car ride over so by the time you're there she's all jazzed up or maybe it's all about the time of day?

    Yeah, we are going to mix things up next time - the 1st appt was at 5pm, the 2nd was at 10am. We are going at 1pm next Friday. Unfortunately they don't do 2am appointments, when she normally wakes up and moves the most. ;)

    I had the OJ on the ride over as well, and she did move a bit, but then stopped. Who knows - and we'll keep trying as long as they'll let us.

    I can't lie, it's fun to see her! As stubborn as she is, she's still the most adorable thing I've laid eyes upon.
