A few questions...

Hi I have 2 questions and I know that other people asked similar ones below but my situation is a little different.
1. Dd is 27 months and is changing daycares from a home daycare to the y. I did this primarily because the y has much better hours for the same price and I thought dd would enjoy being with kids her own age. I love my dcp so this is really hard for me. She has done a fantastic job for the last year and a bit. Ideas for gifts I was thinking a card, a spa gift certificate and some flowers. Any other ideas?
2. My second question is about a stiller I am pregnant with my second and I am trying to figure out if I should buy a double stroller. Dd is 27 months and is big for her age 34 lbs and 37" tall and will be almost 3 when the baby arrives. I worry that she will be too big for some of the double strollers. Recommendations?

1. As an in home DCP I would LOVE a card, spa gift card and some flowers! That sounds like a really great gift

2. We are TTC right now (DS just turned 2 on Sunday) and DS is 41 lbs and 38" tall right now! He still doesn't listen great when were in public (he's a runner!) so I did some research on buying a double stroller. What I have come up with is to wait until a few weeks before your due and re-evaluate the stroller situation. If DS is still running in public and not listening then we are going to buy a used double stroller. I haven't found one that accommodates 40+ pounds in one seat yet, but I haven't intensely looked into strollers just if its necessary with a 3 year old. So that is my advice, wait until your almost due and see if you really need a double or can just do a sit and stand. Good luck!
