Back from first U/S (8w5d)- EDD now April 6th

I have really been holding my breath b/c I think we all know that anything can happen and I wasn't taking a thing for granted. It's terrible, but I was braced for the worst up until the US tech turned the US screen on for us and then I started crying. There's a little baby in there! It was so crazy and amazing to see a strong heart beat and little arms and legs w/some movement.

They said as of now, everything looks great. Got set up w/my next few appts and an NT scan. Going to try and just be happy, celebrate and tell our dads and my brother today. DH's mom is busting at the seams to tell the world and tore down the gate when I gave her the go ahead- LOL! 

Sh#t just got real y'all!

    That's amazing! I am so jealous! Only 1 more week of waiting for me. I'm so glad there was a heartbeat to reassure you.

    You're right, waiting is the worst part, time just draaaaaaaaaags until your appt.

    I wish everyone the best of luck in having wonderful first appts with only good news!!

    We have the same due date!!! I had my u/s last week. Baby looked like a fried egg, but it was a fried egg with a heartbeat.

    We have the same due date! I had my u/s 2 weeks ago and it was just a tiny blob with a flicker, and yet it got me choked up with excitement! How cool that you saw little arms and legs :)
