in front of my SO.
So, although my SO and I have been together almost six years, pre-baby, I had never even farted in front of the guy. I had never asked him to buy me tampons, would run the water when I had to poop so that he couldn't hear it, would go to the downstairs bathroom to do business, etc.
He stood by my bed while I was on my hands and knees, arse in the air, swaying my hips back and forth during labor, while it all hung out. Then, he saw me deliver my placenta, so that was gross. I told him not to watch, but he didn't know what was happening, looked that way, and bam, there it was. After delivery, I got in the shower and the nurse told me to pee in the shower, since it would burn less with the running water...so I had to pee in front of him, standing up. Today, I had to ask him to stop on the way home and pick me up some stool softeners. He never cares and has never said anything like, "Oh, gross." He's a good man and just says, "No problem, sure, it's okay." But, it's still embarrassing. The other day we were sitting on the couch and I just thought to myself, "I can't believe this guy watched me pee and still loves me." Lol!
Anything you never thought that you'd do in front of your SO/H that you ended up doing?

Well, I left it up to H whether he wanted to watch the action down there during the birth, and in the moment, he ended up watching it all, which I have no problem with.
I was comfortable with all the period/vag-related stuff going in to pregnancy, but pooping issues were sort of the final frontier. I dealt with constipation at one point during pregnancy and had to get frank with H about it, then afterwards, I had to talk to him about PP bathroom issues, including a hemmerhoid (I think I spelled that wrong, but autocorrect never works when you actually need it) at 3 weeks PP.

Lol, not anymore. I figure if he can handle a placenta, he can handle poop sounds.
SCANDAL!
Ha, nice.
DH called the nurse into our hospital room after I had gotten up to go use the bathroom and had leaked through the lovely mesh panties onto the bed sheets. He thought I was bleeding profusely and was so worried.
On that note, after going through labor and having DH watch the delivery, which he thought he wouldn't, I have no shame with bodily functions.
