Anyone keeping up with their baby scrapbook? I only have the first page done! I am having serious trouble being productive, except when caring for DS (because that is being productive of course!). Is anyone else finding it hard getting stuff like this done? If not, how do you do it?
Re: Baby Scrapbook
Oh wow! Good job! That's a great idea laying it out before you put it together. I should work on it every evening after he goes to bed, that would really help with getting it done. Thanks!
P.S. I haven't even STARTED my wedding one! It will be two years in October.
Yep, same here! Married 3 years and haven't started mine, either! But just for the record--scrapbooking for babies is MUCH more fun than for a wedding.
I actually do digital scrapbooking. For me, it's so much easier than paper scrapping (I say this as someone who did HUNDREDS of paper scrapped layouts for my older daughter and had a whole room full of scrapbooking supplies). I love digital because I can start a page and save it if I get distracted, so it's easy to work on it in little chunks. I love that you never run out of supplies (anyone ever run out of adhesive at 10pm? LOL) and that you can undo if you make a mistake.
Honestly, it's just like paper scrapping except that you design it on the computer instead of with scissors and tape. I still print my pages and keep them in an album, and the products are realistic enough that my pages LOOK like my paper scrapped pages used to.
Here's one of my favorite layouts I've done:
*disclaimer* - I actually design digital scrapbook products. I started out as a scrapper, but I love it so much that I wanted to learn to make them. So, that's what I do for a living. Doesn't change the fact that I'm passionate about it though!
I have the book and the supplies all in a box - and the photos neatly organized in folders on the computer. I haven't gotten to printing and getting down to business though.

Before DD arrived a friend of mine and I did once a month scrapbook dates. She would bring whatever she was working on and her supplies over my house and we would spend all day hanging out and scrapping. I got soooo much done that way. Hopefully once we finish unpacking I'll be able to get back to that and get moving again.
Oh and the wedding scrapbook...it's partially done with the rest already laid out. And we got married 4 years ago in October.
I've had the same problem!
