Update from last weeks bad first appointment with ob.....

To refresh memory's - I had my first appointment with the OB last week at 8 weeks - it was with a nurse practitioner/midwife..... Baby was measuring perfectly on ultra sound but heartbeat was low....
We went in for a follow up ultra sound this morning....
Baby still looked good - was still measuring right on track and the heartbeat was 177!!!!!
I can't believe it!!! I am seriously floored..... For the second week in a row I cried on the table. This time happy tears. I had no idea how nervous I was until she said 177.
What a difference a week makes! I'm so excited b/c I feel like I can finally sit back and enjoy being pregnant for a little while. No more appointments with the vag cam. (As an IVF-er, I have spent WAY too much time with that thing over the past 2 months.) And 3 weeks before I go back to Ob.

Confession - I did eat 3 starburst on way to dr. Maybe that pushed the heartbeat up a smidge! hahah!

IVF #1 - July 2012 - Stims start 7/2, ER 7/12, 20 retrieved, 16 mature, 13 fertilized!
ET - 7/17 - 1 blast transferred. Beta - 7/26 273, Beta 2 7/30 - 1143. Beta 3 8/6 - 11,597
12/25 - Santa tells us "IT'S A GIRL!" EDD - April 4th

I'm still floored - I was not expecting bad news but I was not expecting a number that high either!!!!
So proud of my little nugget for growing and delivering good news.
Other than the day I found out I was pregnant - this is easily the best day so far!
