So we are officially 1 week in on our breast feeding journey and have hit our first cluster feeding. OMG on the boob more than off the boob makes for a very tired mommy and full diaper pail! I swear this kid will bankrupt us on diapers alone, never mind the future LOL. Anyone else experiencing this?
Re: Cluster feeding sucks the big one....
I learned how to feed lying down by day 4 for this very reason.
It's enforcement to make you stay in one spot. Plan to be stuck on the couch every evening for a little while.

Yes! Each evening for the first month or so just seemed like one big long feed! I wish I had known in the beginning that the evenings in particular are typically fussy time for newborns... DH and I were worried our LO was starving! The older DD got the easier it became to distract her from her evening fussiness with things other than eating. She loved going for walks outside so when my body was in desparate need of a break from constant feeding (or I just needed time for a shower), my DH would take her for a walk. It will get easier!
If the expense of diapers really bothers you, you might want to consider cloth (surprisingly, they can be really very easy).
I attempted to look into it, but there are so many choices out there for CD that my head spun just trying to sort it all out. What do you recommend?

I personally really like one size pocket diapers (I went with the Charlie Banana brand). I like all-in-one diapers, too. In thinking about what kind you want, it's important to consider how much you want to invest moneywise and whether you're looking to use them beyond your current LO. I'm hoping to have more children in the future so I anticipate using my diapers for a long while. You can also sell them when you're done. Diapers can vary quite a bit in cost depending on which type/category/system you pick. Typically, the prefolds with covers and fitteds with covers are the cheapest routes, but the all-in-ones and pocket diapers are super easy and if you choose one size they can be used the entire time (or almost the entire time) your LO is in diapers.
I'd look at Zany Zebra's Cloth Diapers 101 link for starters:
