bike riding ?

I have one of those pull behind carts for my bike.  Yesterday we went on a nice bike ride.  I was pulling my 3yo daughter and Isaac.  So he was picking on his sister the whole time.  I told DH maybe we should get a seat for his bike to split the kids up.  I didn't know if any of you had any recommendations.  There are seats that go behind you or in front of you.  Not sure which is better.  Some seem a little over priced.  We would only be using it a year or two.  Any advice would be great!  Thanks.

    Thanks letranger for the advice.  That's awesome you ride your bike every day.  I love bike riding, but find it hard to do with all these little kids.  I need to get a rear view mirror on my bike too.  I felt like I was turning around the whole time just to make sure there were no cars coming behind us. I let the older kids ride in front.  I just worry about their safety.  People go way too fast around us.  It's like - "SLOW down"  There are kids riding their bikes.

    I bought a $30 bike seat that sits on the back of my bike and it works great.  It might be the Bell brand, but I'm not sure.  I love it.  There are pros and cons to the seats that sit in front vs those that sit at the back.  I'm long-legged and I was worried the front ones would really be uncomfortable for my legs to accomodate.  Also, I ride a bicycle that's from the early 70s if you can believe that, and read online that some older bicycles won't accomodate the front riding seats.  So it was a safer bet to get a traditional seat for the back.  Well, and plus I'm cheap.  Smile

    I have no advice but kind of lol'd about Isaac picking on his sister!  That's certainly not nice at all, but I'm just shocked our Dec LOs are really old enough to really pick on someone now!  I keep forgetting I actually have a kid and not a baby now!
