Women who have taken BCP for IVF cycle...

When did your doctor have you start the BCP? AF started today  and don't remember what day my doctor told me to start them on. I called the nurse today and she never got back to me so yay, I have no idea.

Trying for a baby since 4/10

DX: Infertile 6/11 Me: LPD, all other blood work clear.
DH: low sperm motility,low count.
Met with RE start clomid + TI + IUI 5/12= IUI cancelled due to positive Cystic Fibrosis carrier test. DH tested Neg. for Cystic Fibrosis,

6/12 Clomid + TI +IUI=BFN 8/10 IVF consult.
IVF #1 Started BCP 9/2 Lupron 10/11 stims 10/27 ER 11/6!! 5 eggs retreived only 1 mature. FERT report shows none made it.Cancelled cycle.

IVF #2 BCP 11/18 Lupron 12/14

Stims start 12/29 ER 1/8 ET 1/11 put in 1 grade B and 1 grade C. Beta: 1/20 = BFN

IVF# 3 7/13 BFP ended in chemical pregnancy

9/15 diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance gearing up for IVF# 4 Dec/ Jan

    I dont really remember, but I think it was day 3?  I just know they did it while I was baseline so I dont think being 1 day off matters.  This cycle I never had a period before I started them.  They just checked my levels and since I was baseline, they picked a day that would make my suppression check fall on the day they wanted it to.

    DX: PCOS/Recurrent losses/MTHFR mutation (compound hetero)
    5 hysteroscopies/2 surgical
    3 Inject IUIs = 2 m/c's and 1 BFN
    IVF #1= BFP. m/c at 7w6d. Needed 2 D&C's and scar tissue removal. Mild OHSS
    IVF #2 = BFP. Severe OHSS. 4 Drainings. TWINS!

    I don't think it was CD1, and like Blue eyed think that the starting date was a little flexible.  Hope the nurse gets back to you tomorrow.

    I haven't yet, but I will be, and my IVF cycle instructions say CD 2-3.
    Married my wife 8/2007 ~ TTC #1 since 7/2011
    9 IUIs = 9 BFNs
    IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen
    ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E
    FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E
    Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal
    FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31!
    EDD 7/13/14 ~ Induced at 37w4d due to pre-eclampsia ~ Born on 6/28/14

    Thanks ladies for your answers. I've had a bad infertility day and I was worried my plan for this cycle would be all screwed up over something so stupid. Thanks again!

    I think it depends on the protocol and I think your RE's preference. I have started on CD 1 and CD 3. Each of these cycles were different, one was agonist and the other antagonist. My nurse however, told me that they could be started as late as CD 7, but that is not their first choice. Good luck!

    Beta#1, 9/26/12: 719 Beta#2, 9/28/12: 1,436 Beta#3, 10/1/12: 3,446
    1st u/s on 10/10/12: It's Twins! We found out on 12/16/12 that we were having two BOYS!
    C & D were born on 5/16/13 at 10:46 am and 10:47 am

    The paperwork I have says Day 2 or 3.  The nurse had me start on Day 3.

    I started on day 3 or 4.

    I went in for my WTF appt on CD2 and my RE had me start them that day.  He had said to start either that day or the next day if I needed to.  Hating it though as I'm now at CD8 and AF is STILL HERE!!!  But only 5 more days of pills and then I get to cycle!!
