If you going out for the day and are going to be gone all day through lunch and supper time, do you bring food along? What do you usually bring? Do you stop and eat somewhere and feed LO something from there? Or do you just skip feeding them food?
I usually bring puffs or yogurt melts for ds to snack on but that's not a meal. But if I'm out and about, which isn't too often, its hard to feed actual meals because its so messy. What do you ladies all do?

Sometimes I bring finger foods for snacks but usually if we are out to a restaurant I just order him something off the menu that he can eat. He loves beans and rice so I can usually order a side of that and he is good to go. He tolerates purees so if we are someplace where I can't order something for him I feed him purees.
If we are at a resturaunt I bring a jar of food for him sometimes or finger foods, or feed him a little of what we have. If we are out and about sometimes I get the baby food pouches and squeeze it into his mouth. He likes eating it that way.
DS just eats off my plate if we're at a restaurant. He does really well with preloaded spoons now. I also usually carry around a piece or two of fruit for me, like an apple or a pear, so I can give him that to gnaw on, if I'm out and about.
