Ok we are switching insurance over to DH work to save $200 a month. My question is we did add DD to dental but should we add her to vision also when do they get there eyes checked? Anyone have vision plan at work and worth it not sire for myself either i wear glasses but usually use my AAA discount when i buy glasses and for eye appointment.

    Eye exams are usually done at 4-5years. We have vision for our kids because DH's eyes are perfect, but my vision is terrible and both families are mostly glasses/contact wearers.

    Beginning at the age of 3, our pedi offered a smaller version of an eye exam (some PS require this). I think he would rec a specialist only if had concerns with his testing. Your pedi may do this too? I would hold off on eye coverage for a few more yrs.

    How much a month is it?  I added both girls because it was $9.50 a month for the whole family and would cost that much even if the girls weren't on the plan.
