    That's a great deal. I wish DS fit their clothes right now. He's too tall for his 9-12s, but the 12-18s always fall off his butt. He has exactly three pairs of shorts that fit properly right now.

    You can do what I do and fold the waistband down once. That usually both shortens them a little bit and makes them tighter to stay up.  I also have him in a white onesie at all times which helps them stay up a bit.  I'm in the same spot as you...he is so skinny, but "tall."  (well, 25% for height, but comparing that to 1% for weight, and he's a little stringbean).
