Trouble TTC

one step closer to IVF

Today we had a repeat SA to check for infections before we start our IVF cycle, DH also had blood work done. We also had to meet with an Emotional Councilor; apparently it is mandatory in the state of NH to be evaluated before you start IVF. The Councilor has to clear you before you move forward. So now we are just waiting for AF so I can start my BCP. Of course we are ready to go and AF decides to be late this month. Regardless I am excited and nervous to be taking this next step I mean IVF, this is a big deal and a bit overwhelming.

Eh, it wasn't too bad, the lady was pretty humerous. She said some doctors in NH don't follow through with the requirement, but Dartmouth always does so we didn't have much of a choice if we wanted to move on. Where in MA is your RE's office if you don't mind my asking?

We were previously with Dartmouth as well.  I was personally annoyed with the psych requirement because I already did this to become guardian of DH's boys (when he is away with the military).  I also didn't want to go to Lebanon -- too far and too difficult to arrange for me (DH's time/schedule, SS1, and SS2).  I liked my doctor at Dartmouth very much; the situation just didn't fit with my life.

We are now with New England Fertility Center in Reading, MA.  They have satelite testing facilities in Bedford and Portsmouth as well.  I have two friends that have used this clinic successfully.
