Anyone do clomid with 2 trigger shots?

So on  top of my trigger last week to make me ovulate...I had my progesterone drawn today( week later) and did half of the trigger again today. Im also on endometrin and prednisonE. I asked when I could have a beta... SHE TOLD ME SEPTEMBER 13TH!!!!!!! That is so far away I dont know what I am going to do. Im afraid to stay positive because I am afraid for failure... anyone out there??

Me: 24 DH: 27 12/7/2011- Faint BFP #1- 12/18/2011- early m/c at 5 weeks- CP 1/30/2012- Faint BFP #2- 2/17/2012-early miscarriage at 6 weeks- CP RLP done- 1 copy C77T hetero MTHFR-Slight hypothyroid-normal HSG. 8/2012 and 9/2012 Clomid + TI= BFN 10/2012- follistim 7.5 and IUI #1- BFN (pressured into this IUI) 12/2012-BFP #3- 2 days later started bleeding. 3rd CP. 1/18/2013 BFP #4. Beta #1- 14.7(10dpo) 99.5(13dpo) 263 15(dpo).STICK LITTLE PEANUT- WE LOVE YOU!

    In the past six months I have seen it more popular for the RE's to give "booster" shots of HCG to trick your body into thinking it's already pregnant in order to give the possible embryo more of a change to stick around.  I don't know if there was some recent study or something for this to become more common or what.  

    But I personally have never had that done.  I was thinking of asking my RE about it for our next IUI in January.  But because the HCG from the extra trigger can stay in your system up to 12-16 days after your last shot that is why your beta is scheduled so far out.  

    *PS, are you sure you're on prednisone (steroid) and not progestrone (hormone)?

    lol yes I am sure. I am on both. Being a nurse Ill explain :) So when you have an autoimmune issue ( i have hypothyroid) your uterus can read the embryo as a foreign body and reject it. The prednisone allows that not to happen. Look into it, its actually very interesting! I hadnt heard of it till my RE told me and I said the same thing.. a steriod what? But it makes perfect sense.

    Yea I know 12-16 days...but the wait is going to get the death of me:)

    Your beta is so far away probably because you just took another shot of HCG and it will be in your system for up to 2 weeks.

    The waiting sucks, but best of luck to you.

    DX: PCOS/Recurrent losses/MTHFR mutation (compound hetero)
    5 hysteroscopies/2 surgical
    3 Inject IUIs = 2 m/c's and 1 BFN
    IVF #1= BFP. m/c at 7w6d. Needed 2 D&C's and scar tissue removal. Mild OHSS
    IVF #2 = BFP. Severe OHSS. 4 Drainings. TWINS!
