We took a short list to the hospital with DD and then didn't even choose from the list. Try not to freak too much.

This time, we have a definite front-runner, but we're still waiting to commit until we meet her.

We plan on taking 3 names to the hospital. We have 3 for now but I am not really in love with any of the three. I want to keep looking and DH wants to take the three we have and choose. And don't get me started on middle names, there is no agreement on middle names. Poor child better hope we can get it together in the next three weeks.

I'm right there with you! Also Team Pink, and SO & I are not only NOT on the same page when it comes to names, I don't even think we're in the same book, or library, or GALAXY for that matter! He keeps saying that *I* can just name her, but I really wanted some input from him. Only now that I have that input, I'm pretty OK with naming her and having it be something he can "live with"! Not my ideal situation, but we're getting down to the wire and I just don't see us coming to a perfect agreement anytime soon! Good luck!

B/c of PGaL fears, we never really discussed names. We tossed a couple around but never had anything concrete. We named Jackson when he was about a day 1/2 old. I was starting to stress out about it as time passed after he was here, especially when he was in the NICU. It will happen!

I'm right there with you. I don't remember it being this hard to pick a name for DS. We just can't decide on a girls name, neither one of us have fallen in love with a name for her. It would be nice to at least have a short list to go to the hospital with.

No name. Short list of names we might consider, but nothing there I'm wild about. I gave up looking until after he is born... which is incredibly odd b/c I was panicked about not having a name by this time with my first two. What's funny is now it has been DH who has been bringing it up all the time (what are we going to name this kid?) when in the past it was like pulling teeth to get him to discuss names.

We have a short list but aren't committed to anything. I was stressed out about it but decided to just let it go and wait until we meet him to give him a name.

I thought the same thing... there must be a good story behind that statement!

We didn't have a name for DS until he was three days old and we had a list. This time we don't even have a list, yet. I was just talking to DH about this very thing this past weekend and that we need to come up with some names!

We don't have a name either. Tried to get DH to at least 3 of each (team green) but can't even do that. I am starting to panic, but that's because I'm a planner. I know that once he/she is born, a name will have to come eventually.

I just feel dumb because I couldn't believe it that my SIL/BIL (Dh's brother) didn't name all 3 of their children for almost 3 days after. I always thought to myself- you were pregnant for 9 months- how can you not have a name?!? Now I know.

And the hospital in my province does let you leave without a name- they try to push you to name your baby, but you don't have to. You have 30 days to name your baby and/or change the name!

Hoping to bring a couple of options to the hospital, but so far we've only found 2 we like. I keep meaning to look up some others, I'm hoping I'll know when I meet him!
