Re: ~*~December Snow Angels Check-In~*~
My fave karaoke is Sunday Morning by No Doubt... or Living on a Prayer... or back in the day we used to sing Love Shack as a big group! I LOVE KARAOKE!
Fwew, so glad that the OB appointment put your DH at ease. I can totally see his side though - you have us to talk to so you can calm your crazy (not that you're crazy, but I know *I* have crazy that needs calming from time to time) and that was probably his way of putting his mind at ease and so there wasn't as much stress for his BDing thinking he could hurt you again.
Oh and I think the rule of karaoke is that you HAVE to be a horrible singer
but it's fun to feel a little like a rock star!
Well best of luck to you! Keep us posted on how you're feeling... I hope that the symptoms are all PG related!
Hi ladies!
I have been super stressed over ttc this cycle, especially the last 2 weeks and I am not sure why. I am not feeling so optimistic about this cycle and need to keep telling myself that it is just our 1st month ttc again and I need to be patient. Easier said than done.
Go to karaoke song is Earl had to die by the Dixie Chicks. Must be very drunk though.
I know how you feel, I was insanely stresses last month (that was our first month back on the TTC wagon) and it was hard to not stress. I'm guessing this cycle won't be any different! (((HUGS))) to you and I hope you're able to stay sane over the 2ww!
Hello Ladies!
lindsayanne79: How is the start of your school year going? (aside from the pg coworker... FX that you can avoid her!)
School is back in full swing...I love this time of year, I have so much hope for all of the wonderful and productive things I will get done this year, hopefully I still have this much energy in June! As for the PG co-worker, so far she doesn't look PG so it's sort of outta sight, outta mind...but that can't last forever!
On a bright note, I had EWCM yesterday (rare for me) and we BD'd last night so FX for good timing! In a related story, when I told DH I had EWCM (using the full words) he told me that "calling it that grosses him out" and wanted to know if we could call it something else, so we decided on "baby juice"...which I think sounds strange, but hopefully it helps him out...haha!
Hope everyone has a great week!

Thanks, me too! It was so helpful to get out there. I was talking to him about carlymarie's project of grief for october, and the photo ideas people were listing. One of them was "something that no one else realizes reminds you of our loss." When I said that to him he said, "you know what mine is? Beauty and the beast." (he explained it was because of the name Belle, and that he wants to be a dad like that, that is nerdy but head over heels in love with his daughter) It was so sweet, and un-like my FI to say openly. He has been opening up more since the fight, which is really nice.
GTKY: I LOVE Karaoke. I sing it like every Friday
My go to song is "Someone like you" by Adele.
"As long as I live you will live. As long as I live you will be loved."

Haha, I agree that the words cervix and mucous are total boner killers! And describing it as "egg white"... not so hot either. I like baby juice as a substitute so at least he knows what's up without having to be grossed out!
That is SO cute! I love that he's going to be that kind of father. It sounds like he is a real winner (even though husbands say the DARNDEST things sometimes don't they?)
I can NOT sing someone like you to save my life! You must have an amazing voice
I cannot sing at all, however I am a rock STAR in my car when any Bon Jovi comes on!
SunshinyLees How was your getaway to Okanagan Valley? I hope you enjoyed TONS of wine
Hi Weaslewam!! The Okanagan was amazing!!!! It was the perfect little getaway of hot sunshine, mega vino and thee days straight of bding and I feel so much more refreshed now! Yay!!!
Just currently waiting to O...I'm on cd 16 and I should have gotten a positive OPK by now( normally cd14-16) and a peak on my CBFM so I'm hoping that I'm just Oing later this cycle rather than not Oing at all. FX! Weasleman, I saw in a post yesterday that you're using the monitor. Did you get a peak on your first cycle? This is my first cycle using one and I've been peeing on the sticks since cd 6 and they've all been highs. From what I've read, it can take a couple of months for the monitor to "get to know you" and some ladies don't get peaks for a couple of cycles. Ugh well at least I'm using regular opk's as a backup but this monitor is stressing me out!!
I loooooove kareoke! When my girlfriends and I get together for girls trips away we always hit up a kareoke bar or bring the machine! Fave songs are "Mickey", you know "oh mickey you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind hey mickey" and also "Don't stop believing" by Journey. That one gets everyone singing along!

Congrats on AF arriving! And your HCG being so low (I'm sure it's probably 0 now!)
I'm so happy to see you here even just for a quick second (hehe actually a good long update!) I don't know of any financial websites other than just googling "how much does a baby cost" and you'll find calculators and you can check boxes like "will you use diapers or a diaper service" etc. I know you can save money buy buying secondhand clothes (which is what I plan on doing) and shopping at thrift stores. I know you and your DH will make a good decision regarding having a baby, you've obviously thought this through a lot!!!
(((HUGS))) I hope you're back to TTC before next summer so I can see that BFP STAT!
Congrats to all the grads and ((HUGS)) for all who need them!
So we're still debating between October and November. Before our loss, I was in SUCH a rush to get pregnant and have another baby. Now, I'm more mellow and am enjoying our little family of 3. I definitely want more kiddos but for now I'm content...I hope it stays that way until we decide to start again.
MeganS313: I think whenever you're temping is working because you can clearly see a shift! When do you start TTC again?
I PPH l-o-v-e LOVE temping! Its soo great seeing the shift and knowing whats happening! I'm glad I took the plunge and think this will defintiely help me stress less when we do TTC again.
We still havent' set a date in stone for TTC again. Orginally we said "september." However, ti looks like AF will come that first week and we have SOO much happening in Sept between DS's birthday and a wedding every.single.weekend. that we think it will be best to wait until October. So for now...that's the plan. However DH might be SOO busy with harvest that october might be out as well. I'd like to say October or November b/c that's the most likely situation. We are going on a cruise with DH's family over thanksgiving so I'd like to know for sure then if we are KU or not (which would be possible) but also make it VERY obvious at a VERY early stage
GTKY: I LOVE Killing Me Softly by the Fugees...It's a favorite my 2nd choice would be "Like a Virgin."
PgAL/PAL welcome, always!
