Update: We had our IVF consult last week and our education day/SA is scheduled for the beginning of September. We are taking a much needed break this month (wouldn't have worked with timing and DH traveling anyway) and moving forward with IVF next cycle. I should start (most likely) Luprin at the beginning of September but I will be given the protocol during our next RE visit. I'm nervous but ready to move on. I think DH is still in denial a bit bc he keeps saying maybe it will happen this month and we won't really need IVF (God bless him).
QOTW: Does Barney count? Lol. It wasn't on when I was little but I remember watching it a lot when I would babysit. My daughter is in love... I can't believe it's still on.
Just thought I'd share a new pic... Hope it works (I haven't done this in a while)
Edit: picture didn't work... Any tips how to add one from an iPad or do I need to do it from my pc?

my update: today is CD20 and yesterday I had major cramps followed by some spotting. I was all mentally ready for AF to come on so I can do another medicated cycle and now it has stopped. Why do our bodies play tricks on us? I have had 3 pregnancies and never had implantation bleeding so I am trying to not think about that, but of course a girl can't stop hoping.
***kimberm0511- in the last episode of friends Rachel wears a tank top that is brown with pink and cream circles....I bought it from a boutique in college!! I still can't get rid of that shirt even though it will never fit again! Be on the look out for it!

Hi, I'm pretty new here so if you could add me that would be great! This is my first IVF cycle, on Lupron now and starting stims tomorrow. Looking at a possible retrieval sometime during the first week of September.
QOTW: I haven't watched any old shows recently, but also have caught a few Wonder Years when they replay them...I used to love that show!
Update: I had my first RE appointment last week and I knew going in that I needed to stop BFing before I start cycling. So, I'm working on doing that in the next 2 weeks. The RE said that we can start right away after I have my saline sonogram so I'm crossing my fingers that we'll have our first B2B IUI some time in October.
QOTW: I can never turn down an episode of The Golden Girls (unless DH is around, in which case he will have none of it!)
MPZ born June 2011
TTC #2 ...
Cycle 1-3: IUI = BFN
| Cycle 4: IVF ... canceled but 3 snow babies
Cycle 5: FET .. BFP! | EDD - 3/15/2014
Thanks for doing this! I did the 2IF check-in for over a year so I know it is a lot of work.
Update: Nothing to report still other than I set up an acupuncture apt for Monday. I clearly need to add tht back into my baby making treatment plan!
QOTW: No re-runs of old shows for me, but I recently watched Twin Peaks for the first time thru Netflix. No wonder my parents didn't want me watching that when I was in HS!!!
Update: I triggered last night for retrieval tomorrow! I will be glad to get these eggies out and nervously awaiting fertility report, etc. We are not doing a fresh transfer, whatever we are lucky enough to get will be going into the freezer.
QOTW: Not watching any reruns from childhood, but I do enjoy watching old Seinfeld episodes! Very low key, relaxing and funny. I am also somewhat ashamed that I am sort-of into Glee!! A great one for just getting out of your head and enjoying some mindless laughs is Weeds.
Good luck to everyone this week!

Update: CD 16 of another break cycle. This month officially marks two years of TTC. DD goes to Pre-K after labor day and it is hitting me HARD! I didn't think it would and for a while I thought I was ok with just her but now that she is going to school I realize I don't think I am.
On a good note we are heading for vacation on Sunday so I am hoping a week of R&R will hlep
QOTW: No old shows really but I love Mad Men & Break Bad and Grey's Anatomy.
I am on CD1. I finally got AF today on CD42. I am happy to finally more on. I went for a baseline US today. I will start femara on Sunday and start the whole process once again. I will know before I leave for vacation in Sept if I am preg or not. Hoping I do not have to face dissapointment right before vacation.
QOTW: I haven't been watching any old shows. Seems like I only have time to catch the news lately.... : (

Update: This was a very hard week, but I think the physical part of the miscarriage is almost over. I plan to start temping again Monday and we will try again when I get AF, whenever that might be.
QOTW: Not a show from childhood, but I am obsessed with reruns of Friends.

Update: I'm 8dpo on a TI cycle. Don't really think there is anything going on and not really getting my hopes up. But, I am looking forward to my new RE appointment on Sept. 6th.
QOTW: I am also hooked on the Friends reruns right now. Not really from my childhood. But, I love them. I think I'm starting to have them all memorized. But, I like it when there is an episode that I haven't seen. There are a few out there.
ETA: JeannaQueena, thanks for taking over. Great job!!
TTC#2 since December 2010. HSG and bloodwork all good. SA results not so good. Unmedicated IUI#1 6/19/2012 - BFN
Hi everyone! I started lupron tonight so my first shot since 2010. It bums me out that I'm an old pro at this. Then I start thinking about how much it costs me to try and achieve what so many take for granted and that really ticks me off!! My DH and I are in full debate about how many to transfer. I'm sure I will ask all of you your opinions before the 19th! QOTW: Taking it way back in my childhood, Wonder Woman with Linda Carter, was my favorite and I would love to catch some reruns of that. My favorite Friends episode is the one where Phoebe changed her name to Princess Consuelo Banana Hammock! You could tell Paul Rudd was trying not to laugh as he explained what a banana hammock was! Have a great week, sorry for the paragraph I'm on my phone! JM
Had a sonohistogram earlier this week that showed that the polyps have not grown back (re thought maybe this was the reason for most recent failed ivf). Have decided to do donor embryo FET on sept 28th. I start lupron (again) on Monday night and my little man starts k Monday which makes me sad because I wanted him to have a little brother or sister or at least one on the way by that time. I am employed in the education system so I started back this week... Haven't really been watching tv.
DS#1 born 9/23/06
Twins DS#2 and 3 born at 31 weeks, 3 days due to a short cervix on 8/2/13.
Update: I trigger tonight for my IUIs Sunday and Monday. I am ready for a break from all the shots and appts. We're leaving for a 3 week vacation 1 week after the IUIs, so we'll be taking a break if this isn't it for us.
QOTW: I don't watch old shows, but y'all are making me nostalgic for Friends.

No real update still hoping and praying DH will come around to another PESA with IVF/ICSI. He tells me to come up with a compromise and I have done so with several and he keeps saying no With AF looming next weekend I am likely out for a September IVF cycle start but I will not give up until I see "red".
Lots of best wishes and good luck to those cycling and ttc!!!

Thanks JQ for taking over = and I am not going anywhere, as long as you girls will let me stay!!
We had our 2nd u/s on Friday and as JQ mentioned, we got to see the little heartbeat!! They also told me I have a subchorionic hematoma sp so now I'm experiencing some spotting. I called yesterday for reassurance and they told me it's fine. The symptoms are starting to kick in as well fatigue, nausea and food aversions. But overall I feel great!
QOTW: I love Saved By the Bell and old 90210. I will watch them any time!!

OMG I LOVED Wonder Woman! I used to wear my Wonder Woman underroos and spin in a circle so I could turn into WW like her! I also was guilty of wearing my WW underroos under my 1st Communion dress the first time I tried it on. My mom and G-ma were like, "You can't wear those under your dress, we can see them!!!"
We got our BFP a few weeks ago. My betas more than doubled between my blood draws also. It still feels surreal and I haven't had time to bump much lately. We have our first u/s on 09/18 and it seems to far away. I wish I had found this board much earlier in the TTC process but thank you ladies for all of the helpful advice and support you offered while I was hear. You are all in my T & Ps!
QOTW - I haven't been watching many reruns lately. I have been trying to catch up on Teen Mom though.

Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase

Update: I'm 8dpo on a TI cycle. Don't really think there is anything going on and not really getting my hopes up. But, I am looking forward to my new RE appointment on Sept. 6th.
QOTW: I am also hooked on the Friends reruns right now. Not really from my childhood. But, I love them. I think I'm starting to have them all memorized. But, I like it when there is an episode that I haven't seen. There are a few out there.
ETA: JeannaQueena, thanks for taking over. Great job!!

Not much to update. Still in limbo trying to decide if I want to go forward with another ivf. Sigh.......
QOTW-Yes. I've been watching a lot of old 7th Heaven episodes lately.
Wonder Woman was my favorite! I have the boxed DVD set.
QOTW: Not currently, I am a big historical fiction book nerd and read whenever I have down time
Im going to join in this week. Im on CD8 of my first cycle of clomid+Ovidrel trigger. Tonight is my last dose and I go in for a follie check Tuesday.
Im getting the anxiety I hoped to avoid this time around, but I get its inevitable when you get so much hope up.

Both these milestones are hard!
