Of the 10 that were retrieved, 8 were mature, and 7 fertilized. 

Potential transfer is set for Thursday, but we may stretch it to Saturday if they think they can withstand a 5dT.

Now we wait.

    I don't know much about this.  If you don't mind me asking, what are the pros and cons of Thursday vs. Saturday?

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!

    I think they like a 5 day transfer better because it gives them another 48 hours to watch them and look for signs that they're still doing well, or that they're not dividing correctly and therefore wouldn't be a viable pregnancy. 

    But a 3 day transfer isn't necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes they just need to get back in a uterus (or be frozen). 

    Either way, as long as it works I don't care!

    If you don't mind me asking, are you going to pick just one, or have more than one put back? I could get behind a whole gaggle of ETS babies.

    We're debating that. We're afraid of multiples, of all the health risks, etc. We both work in healthcare, so we see these kids all the time. 

    Depending on the quality, we're debating between one and two. We definitely wouldn't put more than two back.
