I find it very strange that so many of you are posting on a BMB when you're not even pregnant.....

There is a TTGP board for that.

Not sure why you care so much to make a post yourself?

FYI :

-"Here's to hoping" had 35 replies on the May 2013 board before any of them had bfp.

-April 2013 also had 27 replies to "not a test post" at the end of May when they wanted bfp in July.

So I guess a lot of people are "weird" then. Also some of us aren't ttgp yet. If we were, we'd have May babies... Don't come this way to stir things up. If being optimistic is weird then fine.

Have a lovely afternoon & if you are lurking because you would like a June baby... then I wish you all the luck next month. Hopefully you get a BFP soon.

It's totally normal, and not weird at all, to plan exactly what month your baby will be born. As well as decide what sex it will be, what college they'll go to and who they'll marry. Totally normal.

You are correct, there are lots of weird people on these boards. I do have a June 2012 baby and did not find out I was KU until Oct. 11, so posting on here a month and a half in advance is a bit kookoo. I suppose they better get an April 2014 board going, seeing as how I'd like to try to conceive next summer. I mean, it's totally rational for me to post there, right??

I was just informing you that the point of this group, as is even detailed in the description, is for those DUE in June to discuss their pregnancy. If you aren't TTGP, then maybe Babies on the Brain would be a better fit for you.

We are TTGP next month to have a June 2013 baby.

If for some reason we do NOT get pregnant next month, then I will move to the July 2013 boards.

How I use the bump and the message boards is my decision, not yours or anyone elses, so if you don't like it then move on. seriously. why stir the pot?

And just MAYBE, I might want to try and connect with women who are in the same mind set of TTC next month (resulting in a June 2013 baby) and post here rather than shuffle through the TTGP boards. As much as I love those boards, there are a lot of different messages that really do not pertain to me and I don't want to go through them all.

I agree. I am currently trying and this would be my next cycle. I've had several snarky posts directed at me already and this so far was an enjoyable place to be. I have 1 child, I've had a CP...get it...may not happen in June. Why come here and just add negativity. Like Space Unicorn said, if not this month I'll move onto the next. This is my experience.

I was just lurking on this board and foud it very funny that the post before this one is about snarky mommies.....and then you post this. Seriously why do you actually care so much? Why does it matter if women who hope their due date will be June 2013 want to post here? I think its super extra weird that you would care so much to make a post. DH and I are in round one of IVF by that I mean I give myself shots every morning and go to the dr's a ridiculous amount for someone not pregnant yet. I use the Infertility board for support and just clicked June 2013 Mommie's because that's our goal. I was hoping to see some other soon to be June bugs to cheer up a bit because IVF can be daunting!

and all I see is someone judging where and what people are posting... lovely.

Same here. My husband and I are hoping to be expecting again for a June 2013 baby. I'm glad this board is here - it gives me hope.

Good luck to you! We are all in the same boat of hoping for a June 2013 baby (or any healthy baby then or thereafter). Stick around. There are a good couple of us that are here just to chat, ask questions, vent and hope for good things to come.:)

I just want all of you ladies TTC for June 2013, that we are not all rude and hateful. I have been where you are. I thought TB was about support and having people to help you out when you don't know things, and having people to rely on for questions. There are a lot of those great gals here, but there are definitely the "bad apples" too that have nothing better to do than sit around and try to ruin someone else's day. I've never made a snarky comment to anyone and don't intend to, because really... whats the point? Being bitchy never gets anyone anywhere.

But just so you know, there really are some good ones out there. And just FTR I don't think it's weird at all to post on the board ahead of time. Smile

I think it is strange that you felt the need to post this. Are you trying to be helpful or just snarky, because the latter isn't necessary.

The "[month] [year] Moms" boards are for people actually due in those months.

Hoping to join that month? great - post on TTGP/BOTB/other board until you do.

TTGP isn't so terrible that you have to hide out on a board you have absolutely no control over being on.

This! I was also lurking from January 2013. There are a lot of great women in our birth month group and I'm so thankful for that, but I've also seen some real b!tches on TB (luckily none in our group though!) We're definitely not all bad and some of us are very supportive. Personally, I've lurked on the TTGP board and I can see why some ladies wouldn't want to post there. It's a very snarky place so I don't find it strange at all to post on these boards ahead of time. Good luck and I hope you all get your BFP's for a June 2013 (or soon thereafter) baby! Smile
