Bumpies Fantasy Football- Join!!

I figured I would just go ahead and make it and HOPEFULLY we will have enough people sign up so that it can happen! I was really wanting to do a *live draft* but I'm not sure of how everyone's schedules are. I set up a time as Saturday Sept 1st 9PM EST. But we can change this. If you can't do a live draft then you can still do this! You can prerank your players to set up an "autodraft"
Go ahead and join & create a team name that way we can see how many people we will have

This is a cuss word. One that we are not allowed to say here. Only War Eagle.
But for real. I don't know how to play. I love football watch it all the time, but yeah... can it be explained?
ETA: I follow College football. I watch Pro but don't really know the players besides the "famous" ones. Does this matter?
I think this will be a learning experience for all of us. I've never done this before but Yahoo is pretty step by step as far as telling you what to do. I don't know many of the players either except for the ones they talk about frequently on espn sportscenter which my husband has on constantly but I rarely pay attention to.
When you draft your players it will have their stats and ranking so you know who is better than who. If you set your team to autodraft it will either a) autodraft from your predetermined ranking that you've chosen or b)autodraft with which player they think is best.

Is it going to be a PPR league? I tried looking at the scoring system, but it doesn't look like it.
I've been MIA for the past week (been out of town) and I'm SO GLAD I checked the board and didn't miss this! I'm so in! I'm sooooooo a better fan of a live draft versus auto...I'm going to try my best Saturday night to be in the draft room!

It's set up to be a Head to Head League so each week you go up against someone.
What day/time would work for those that want to do a live draft?? There are limited time availability slots. Last night Saturday was the only day but it looks like today they have opened up more times for more days. It has to be done before next Wednesday it says.

Yeah we can do a post the morning of just to remind everyone. I'll also do another post about it later on in the week in case we have more people wanting to join. So far we have 7 teams so that's good! In order for it to be head to head we need an even number, but if not they will just change our setting to points which isn't a big deal I guess.
I'm not sure how long? I would imagine it would depend on how many teams you have in your league and how fast each person makes their decision each time. My husband's took almost 2 hours but he is in a large league with picky money hungry men. lol
I am reaching into the memory banks here, but I think the last time I did a league, it was an uneven number and we still did head to head (don't recall how that worked but I am pretty sure it was still head to head).
I will get around to signing up...last night it was all about getting registered with Y classes since I didn't realize the fall session started this week.
When I log into the league it says
"Your league currently contains an odd number of teams
You must have an even number of teams in order to determine schedule and draft."
So I'm not sure I guess maybe some servers have different rules. Either way I hope a lot more people sign up! -This will be fun
I don't get it. How does that work? I've never done one, but I've seen DH do many, and there is always a schedule

I will ahve to do auto drat because I will likely not be at home regardless of what date/time you choose, and my computer at home isnt set up so I would have to use MH's laptop, and I really prefer my own computer.
