Adoption
I hope you don't mind if I come out of lurking to ask a question.
Long story short my "sperm donor" didn't stick around.
My mom got married when I was young and he adopted me. I have been wanting to get a tattoo for him for quite awhile, I've been playing with ideas, but couldn't come up with anything. Last night while laying awake I thought it would be a great idea to just get the date he officially adopted me. Called my mom this morning and after some searching she found the document. My question is how to use the date?

Any ideas for something to put with it, I looked at the symbol for adoption but I just don't like it that much. TYIA!

That is a beautiful idea, have you considered other ways to display the date? Maybe it doesn't have to be number symbols. Words? roman numerals? in another language. There's a lot of possibilities to make numbers beautiful.
