Where do you put yours? And dirty as in poopy diapers.
I have the diaper genie, tried diaper champ and regular bags, along with baking soda bags. Nothing is containing the smell! I can't wait til garbage day around here, but now my trash can is starting to retain the smell of poop! Ugghhh.
Please tell me you have a suggestion!

With DD we used a very small step-to-open trash can and emptied it twice a week into our outside trash bin. We never had an issue with stink and it used regular grocery sacks so it was nice.
Toward the end of her diaper-wearing days I was given two diaper disposal systems to review (the Munchkin and the Diaper Genie) and I preferred the Munchkin. I was able to keep both and we have been using the Munchkin for DS since he was born. This last time I changed the bag I noticed that it has started to retain the smell a bit, but I just set it out in the sunshine for an afternoon and the smell was gone. I think since the diapers sit in there for a week versus just a couple days it really makes the retention factor worse. I will say, though, that I have never noticed a smell any other time and still don't notice it just opening and closing it. Had I not gotten it for free we would have just gone with another small trash can, but I do really like it.
I throw the poopie diapers in the trash outside, pee diapers I just throw in the trash in the kitchen.
I never had a fancy diaper genie :[

It is hard to do this if your kid doesn't have plopable poop. We CD, so we have a diaper sprayer. But, I cannot imagine a parent scraping poop if they CD.
