I was a RCS for yesterday, but my daughter decided she was coming earlier. I was scheduled to be at the hospital at 7am for 9 am section. I went into labor Sunday night. Around 10:15 I started having what felt like bad menstrual cramps. I started timing them and called L&D who said to come in. We got to the hospital around 11:55 and once they set me up on the machine I was already having contractions every 2-4 minutes. I thought being I was a C/S I'd get out of having any internals, but I was wrong. I was already 5-6 cm and 90% effaced when they checked. They immediately called my Ob who rushed in and we were in the OR before 1am. Brynn Ann was born at 1:28 am weighing 7lbs 13 oz and 20 5/8 inches. She is so little compared to her brother who was 9lbs 1oz. We all are so in love and she looks just like her big brother.
I am amazed how much easier this recovery has been vs my 1st c/s. they took the catheter out yesterday before noon and I was out of bed! I will post pictures when I get home. Good luck to all the Sept mamas having their babies this week!

Congrats on your little one. I noticed I am healing faster with this c/s than my first one too. I am so thankful for.
