If you will be flying for your adoption (esp. internationally) I recommend using Delta and getting their sky miles credit card. My DH signed up for it in the airport while we were between flights, and just from our first round trip plus using it for $500 (they give a ton of miles for the first $500 you use) we have over 50,000 miles, which is already more than enough to pay for our little man's plane ticket back home. And we still have two more round trips to make!
Just FYI! I always heard about these cards but we have a "points" card with out bank and it takes FOREVER to earn anything, so I was skeptical but with this card the miles add up fast.
