NT Scan Went Well!

I called my OB and asked for an NT Scan again and they finally called me back and told me to come in today since I had to get it done this week!

Baby B was very cooperative but Baby A was lazy and wouldn't move, LOL! They finally got a good look at Baby A and she said that both of them are in the normal ranges.

I have an appt. with my OB Thursday and am going to be asking her for an MFM referral for sure.

Was that the official measurement they got on A? Just wondering. Although A was measured as you can see, it's not the correct shot. Just throwing that out there in case you want further reason to see an MFM.

That picture was the best shot on the CD they gave me of A, I think that measurement at the bottom was when she was measuring the neck? I just double checked another picture and at the bottom it says 6.01 CM.

Is 6.01 CM and 5.91 CM normal for 12 weeks? Now, I'm nervous!!

You can clearly see the NT measured on A. Just saying that's not the right angle and really should not have been used. But no matter what it looks THIN! And that's what matters. This is why only certain people are certified to do NT scans - it's such a precise measurement.

FWIW my baby A was totally naughty too and took forever to scan.

6 cm is likely the CRL of the baby and totally normal for that age.

Yikes! Thanks for letting me know! I'm not positive if that is the official measurement she used, I know she kept trying for awhile and that number kept going up and down. There's a ton of pictures on the CD. My OB appt. is on Thursday so I'll definitely ask! Thanks!

Yay I'm glad you made it in on time. Even if for no other reason than an excuse to see the babies Now comes the long wait on the gender ID lol

Glad you got it done, now I just hope they refer you to the MFM! Fingers crossed!
