I swear I'm going to go nuts!!!

I'm growing comfortable with having this bigass ovary out, now... the boys have started getting hiccups (felt B's first case on Saturday, A got his first case today) - I swear if they both start getting them at once I'm going to lose my damn mind. I'm hoping that with the big ovary gone I won't be able to feel the vibrations as much for a while.

  • This is my first pg, so I don't know what hiccups feel like, but sometimes the boys start kicking/punching/head banging at the same time. I feel abused lol.

  • Hiccups feel almost exactly the same as it feels when you get hiccups, only in your lower abdomen instead of your chest. Their's are radiating throughout all my organs tho... and I blame that on the giant ovary lol A had them for almost two hours today... and B just did a flip. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to know they're alive in there. Just making me crazy is all.

Lol! I haven't felt any yet then, but sounds interesting. I'm in the same boat as you. Love the reassurance that all is well in their little utero haven, but sometimes I wish they would chill out! The only thing that calms them immediately is Sade- By Your Side.

  • I just felt them for the first time today while I was doing my NST

  • I'm glad you guys went so long without feeling them - hopefully that means I won't feel them as much once the ovary is out and I have more room. My girls started having hiccups that I could feel right around 6mo, if I remember right. Would be nice to have a couple months off from the twitches.

  • Wow, that's so crazy that you can clearly feel their hiccups already! I'm at 26w2d and haven't felt hiccups yet...thank God, b/c my DS got them ALL the time during my third trimester and I hated it. I thought it was the most irritating feeling! He still gets them often today and he's a year and a half. Anyway, hope you won't be able to feel them (the hiccups, not the babies) after your surgery!
