Re: MoM's to be check in :)
QOTW: If your pregnancy with multiples was a reality show what would it be called, would you have a theme song, if so what? Hmm.. I don't really know. It hasn't been eventful so I wouldn't think it'd be a good reality TV show. Lol. Tough question!
Update on us so far - MFM appt on last Weds was good, good fluid and a long cervix. Ended up at my OB's office today because I thought I was leaking fluid. I wasn't thank god, but I was sent to L&D for monitoring. The nurse said I had minor uterine irratability. Basically I was having small contractions and very irregular so they gave me a shot and sent me on my way. I have an OB and an MFM appt on the 4th/5th. We'll be finding out how their size discrepancy is, fingers crossed it's evened out!
Update: Had my first MFM appointment Friday and everything looks great with the babies. We are having a boy and a girl! I have a standard OB appointment next week but nothing else happening.
QOTW: If your pregnancy with multiples was a reality show what would it be called, would you have a theme song, if so what?
Oh man, I am not good at these types of questions! Other than the shock of having twins the pregnancy has been overall routine and boring (knock on wood). I would make for a lame show!
I tried to figure out how to answer your questions and for some reason the only song that pops into my head is the " no more monkeys jumping on the bed" nursery rhythm. Cause seriously baby A is seriously doing the la bamba on it. If I had a title it would probably be When Zombie Mom attacks. I don't sleep very well at all. So usually I am groggy and cranky.
Boys are doing great. Cervix is nice and long according to the last dildocam shot. I am going every two to three weeks now to check for cervical length. Since I am a diabetic they checked their hearts for any defects and found none! Each baby is a little over a pound so they are doing pretty well
.
QOTW: Good question! I'm going to go with "The Exorcist HD." Pregnancy has turned me into a mean, pale, vomit-y mess! Poor DH. As for a song, I don't really know! The babies seem to dance when Florence and the Machine comes on, so maybe something from them?
UPDATE: Last week's u/s at the MFM went well. My cervix is still over 3cm, the previa has resolved, and the babies only have a 6% growth discordance. They are a bit in the small side, but MFM was not worried, as DH and I are also super petite! Weekly NSTs begin on Wednesday!
12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!
Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!
Qotw: Second Chance would be our reality show title.
Update: the doctor confirmed b/g twins again which Dh and I are thrilled about. I'm hoping it gets confirmed tomorrow. My pregnancy has been going well with the exception of my low lying placenta. I'm also hoping that the doctor says that resolved itself too. Although I hate being high risk, I'm quite happy that I'll be written out at 20 weeks so I can rest and stay off my feet.
hmm, that is a great question!! honestly, i don't know about a reality show theme song. but the song that alllllways seems to get me on the radio is that song "I loved you for a thousand years." is it lady antebellum? i'm not sure, not really too good with matching artists to songs. but i just feel like it's so fitting....from the second i found out i was having twins, i felt so extremely attached to them right away. i think that's what led to my anxiety during 1st tri (and even now) because i think "i want them both!!"
Update: we have our a/s on thursday which i am completely thrilled about. we're waiting until saturday to find out at a gender reveal party. i am still thinking two boys!! so far, everything looks good. i've had one appt at the mfm office and they seemed to think the babies look great. i have another appt at the end of sept just as a "check-in."
I'd love to be added to the list. Di/Tri triplets due 3/27/13, but we're expecting them in early February.
QOTW: I'm not sure what I'd name a show, but the Three's Company theme song has been popping into my head every now and then, so I'd definitely go with that.
Update: I had my 2nd u/s last Tuesday at 8wks6days. All three babies are doing great and are measuring right on date (twins were 8wk5d and triplet was 8wk6d). The twins do share a placenta, so that is upping the risk factors for this pregnancy. After the u/s I met with the team of MFMs. The head MFM said the twins' cords are on opposite ends of the placenta, so we're hoping the odds for TTTS is lower. They've also said I'm 2-3 times more likely to get Pre-E, so they'll be doing extra testing for that throughout the pregnancy. I'm trying not to worrying about the TTTS and Pre-E, since there isn't much I can do to control or prevent either. Just trying to enjoy each day as it comes.

QOTW: If your pregnancy with multiples was a reality show what would it be called, would you have a theme song, if so what?
I would have to call it "Contraction" and the theme song would be one of my own creation called "When will my cervix change?"
My last MFM/OB appointment at 30w1d was really good. Baby A (boy) was 3lb1oz and no longer has fluid on his kidneys (yay!) and Baby B (girl) was 3lb10oz. My cervix is holding out at 3.6cm with no funneling or dilation. My OB said it looks like a vaginal delivery will be possible since both babies are still head down. If they're both head down at my next appointment at 32w1d that's what we'll plan on.
My contractions are getting stronger and more frequent, sometimes timeable, but all my FFN tests so far have been negative. I'm hoping the OB will do one more at 32w1d to get me to 34w.

E & C Born 10/19/2012
2 appts this week. The boys started school last week so it's nice to have a few hours to rest and get something done.
QOTW: It would not be an exciting show b/c I'm so tired and sometimes nauseous. I don't have a catchy title, but it would be something like Tired and Nauseous.
Oh my, if I had a reality show it would have to be one of those 'pregnant and....' shows and would probably call it pregnant and narcaleptic! I cannot stay awake for the life of me! I feel like I could fall asleep while walking. I am also still battling nausea all day. As long as I take my 2 nausea meds, I am not puking all day. As for a theme song, I can't come up with a good one at the moment, but even though it probably wouldn't go with the title, I would do Aerosmith's 'Don't want to miss a thing' song. I feel like that is how I am looking at this pregnancy. It will be my last as these two LO's will complete my family and then every first will also be my last so I am going to soak up every moment. I'm trying to do the same for the pregnancy knowing I don't plan on becoming pregnant again.
update: Not much here, I go for my first cervix check and anatomy scan 9/12. Then I guess I will see my MFM at least once a month for both a cevix check and a/s which seems crazy but my MFM says she does a full anatomy scan at every visit. I will be between 19-20 weeks and so I am hoping they can confirm that these are boy/girl twins so the shopping can begin!! I can't wait to start buying little baby clothes again.
Just joined the board. I am currently 23 weeks pregnant with identical twins. B finally caught up to A and is even 4 ounces heavier than A, we are not finding out their gender and have names picked out either way.
As for the weekly question: one in a million would be the title or careful what you wish for because I feel really blessed and unique one minute and then overwhelmed the next. The song would be Laura Story's Blessings, every time I hear that song I want to cry and hope to teach my kiddos to see the negative in life as positives. There have been so many negatives in my life that have lead me to the path I am on now which is filled with so much joy and hope, I wouldn't change a choice I have made!
