chemical free portible crib

Hi,

My husband and I are very concerned about endocrine disrupters and are try hard to avoid them with our registry.  We have found crib/mattress/bedding that we are satisfied with but are not sure what to do about a pack and play alternative.  The bedrooms in our house are downstairs but the main living space is upstairs so we would really like a nap space upstairs.  With the price of the crib we would really like something affordable for the registry, any ideas?

    A Moses basket is a great option for early on, it is very portable and can be used as a bed when you are traveling! As far as later down the road... I ran across a beautiful organic play pad on my local Craigslist (for when babies are doing tummy time), I think there are also wooden gate systems you could check into for when your LO starts crawling around/walking. Just check around online, I'm sure you will find some great options to meet your needs!
