Playmobil ?

Does your preschooler like the playmobil sets?  I was thinking of getting DS one for Christmas because he is so into making up stories and using his imagination.  What set(s) do you have and do they get played with?

    We're huge Playmobil fans! My DD is older now, but she was 2.5 when she got her first set - the take along vet clinic (which was a huge hit and still gets lots of play). When she was 3.5, she got the pony ranch. At 4, the zoo and hospital. And this year for Christmas, at age 5.5, she'll most likely be getting the pirate ship. In the beginning, I'd hold back some of the tiniest pieces.

    There are lots of little pieces to manage, but the quality and attention to detail is impeccable. My DD also really likes that all of the pieces can stand on their own, hold things and can sit. I also appreciate how all of the pieces can intermingle.

    I also enjoy assembling them. :)

    Legos have gone over better in our house, but we'll probably try again at some point. I loved them when I was little.
