I know there are a ton of pictures here, so I will try to explain them briefly. It is such a small room so I had a hard time making all of the furniture work. The room originally started off with the gray walls and then I added the white chevron stripes which took about two weeks of measuring taping and measuring again because I was such a freak about it! The white dresser is one that I refinished; it used to be brown with ugly black handles, and the little notes under the glass are notes to the baby from the guests at my 2nd shower. The tissue pom poms I also made myself. The prints on the chevron wall are from Etsy and the white shelf is from Michaels that originally came unfinished for about 7 dollars. All of the picture frames are from IKEA as well as the hanging light. The bedding is from Land of Nod. I am so happy with how it turned out. The only thing missing is her name that will hang above her crib, but were not sharing that with family so it won?t go up until after she arrives? Thanks for looking!
It looks great! I love the colors! We are going for purple, blue, and green for our nursery, but purple is so hard to find this year. I think I'll be stealing your idea on the tissue paper poms. They look great and add a nice pop of color.

it looks great! love all the personal touches! I also am obsessed with that mirror!!! where did you get it?
I forgot to mention the mirror, when we bought our home last year they left all of the wall hangings and big furniture and this was actually a yellow crusty looking mirror that was hanging in the laundry room in the basement. A little paint and some patience and this is what I came up with. So glad I didn't sell that thing in a garage sale or something. Thanks!

these are my favorite part of the room other than the chevron wall. I highly suggest making one with junk paper (a color you don't plan on using) first so you get the hang of seperating them carefully. I was glad I did this because you really do have to be careful. You can buy huge packs of multi color tissue paper from michaels for 6 dollars a piece. I ended up having to buy 5 packs in order to get enough sheets to do multiple poms. Each pom needs a minimum of 10 sheets for it to look full, just an fyi. I love the pop of color it brings Thanks!
