DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE!
I am now 11 weeks into my first pregnancy and had an awful experience with this office. First, my doctor, Dr. Cherian - she hardly spent any time with me during my first visit so I never got to go through my list of questions. She called me a week later to tell me that my thyroid levels came back extremely high and called in a prescription for Synthroid. After looking into it, I learned Synthroid is used to treat hypothyroidism - not hyperthyroidism. I called the office and a nurse said she would relay the message to her. I then got 2 voicemails from her essentially saying I was going to miscarry if I didn't get on the medication right away. When I called her back and called her out on the wrong medication, she blew over it saying she called the right one in. When I went to pick it up she had only called it in that day after our phone call. The last thing I need is to be my own doctor.
Next, the office management. I obviously wanted to switch doctors and tried diligently to get my records faxed over. After a week and many frustrating phone calls I had to investigate through my insurance who the lab was and call them directly to get my report. In looking into my insurance I realized they used an out of network lab so I'm now having to deal with rectifying that issue.
If you are looking for a stress free experience with you pregnancy, definitely look elsewhere. I've been working with Dr. Winsome Parchment and have really loved her so far.
