DS is wanting Legos for Christmas, and I think this is going to be his biggest gift b/c everything else that he seems to be interested in is pretty small, simple and/or inexpensive for the moment. I'd like to get him enough to really be able to create with them, but they are so expensive. I don't really care if they are the kits designed to build a specific thing or not b/c I really just want him to be able to do his own thing anyway.
I've looked at craigslist and garage sales for the past couple of months hoping to come up with some good deals, and it seems that people must not sell them that much around here b/c I haven't found anything at all other than a few people selling the bigger Duplo size blocks.
