1st trip to the ER for ds

Dh had brought his shorts in from the car cause he had been out Mtn biking and had left them in the living room. I put ds in the living room after dinner to do dished. I didn't notice the shorts. Dh ran to the grocery store cause he wanted ice cream. It was quiet in the LR and then I heard a weird clinking noise. I went in the LR and ds was holding pennies he took from dh pocket.
I didn't think he eat one cause I didn't hear him gag but he does love to put everything in his mouth.
I called the pediatrician and he said since I couldn't be sure he didn't eat a penny we had to take him to the ER.
3 hours and one Xray we are home and penny free.
Oh and I have to go back to work tommorow after having the summer off. Fun.
