at first i only thought that i was feeling one baby, but the feet of one baby was low, and the feet of the other baby were on top of the others head on the same side.
then, later on, one baby was just a stronger kicker than the other so i barely ever felt one. doctors don't like to hear that though.
When I first felt the babies kick, I could only feel one. The smaller one was quite a bit smaller than its sibling so the light butterfly kicks from the larger one were the only thing I could feel. This last ultrasound showed that the smaller one surpassed the larger one and they were laying opposite each other (head of one with feet of the other) and I again was only feeling one child kick but with the u/s I understood why. One would kick the other get mad and punch in same spot. So don't worry about only feeling movement on one side unless its backed up by the u/s.
