Children's Place 3 in 1 jackets

Do these run big or small? My boys have been in 12 month clothes for a while so all their fall clothes I bought in 18mo. I'm trying to decide if I should get them 12-18 month jackets or 18-24 months.

Re: Children's Place 3 in 1 jackets

  • I have bought these every year for all of my kids.  I find they run true to size or on the big side.

My twins turned 2 in Feb this past winter and they wore the 18-24 month coats.  They were big on them for the first couple months and by March fit just about right.

My oldest wore size 3 when he was 3, size 4 when he was 4, etc...

I would not go up a size.

  • I find they run pretty true to size. I bought them 3T coats the year they were about to turn 2 and those were a little big the first year but they lasted for two winters.

  • I think they're big but I think all their clothes run big for my kids- DD is slightly less than average for height but 50% for weight and DS is 50% for height and a little under for weight, I definitely have more problems w/ him wearing their clothes & I will not buy him pants/shorts from there anymore b/c they're so long.

They were 2 1/2 last winter & still wearing their 18 month 3in1's from the year prior- however, the fleece in DS's was a little small in sleeve length at that point. I found that the outer shell was huge. When they were around 18 months I had to roll the sleeves up & they came down to their knees.
