You can see IVF #1 in my siggy. We didn't do ICSI last time. This time 41 were retrieved and only 12 fertilized. I feel completely defeated. I know there are people who would be thrilled to get 12. But the chances of there being a viable embryo out of that 12 is so slim I feel like this cycle is over already. And I also don't understand how your second IVF can go worse than your first. Aren't they supposed to have made improvements upon the first protocol? Ugh, sorry for the vent. 
Me:27 DH:27 IVF#1 Antagonist protocol- 45R, 20F, all arrested except 1 blast, BFN 7/20/12 Houston, we have an egg problem. IVF#2 Luteal Lupron protocol Started stims 8/16/12 ER 8/26/12 41R, 12F, all arrested before ET Not sure where to go from here. My blog: www.mininoves.wordpress.com

    41 is alot of eggs!!! I know its hard but you must remember that it is about quality over quantity and twelve is an awesome number of embryos! It is possible that they made improvements on quality from last IVF to this one. GL! (Drink lots of fluid - at this point I would be concerned with OHSS which can also negatively impact implantation).

    I'm sorry it wasn't better.  But hang in there.  I hope you get a great report for transfer and maybe even some frosties :)
