i am officially bouncing off the walls because my MobyWrap just showed up in the mail! i think of all the baby stuff we've received, this is the one i was most looking forward to getting!
now question, for those of you that babywear with the Moby, does your DH use it easily as well? mine is a little hesitant of wearing her in "a shawl," as he calls it...can anyone share some DH wrap-babywearing tips?
Re: AW/question: my Moby is here!
MH refused to wear the Moby but he wore the Ergo. I think the Moby = feminine to him for some reason. Whatever he was comfortable with I was fine. I didn't want to force him to wear the Moby if it wasn't his thing.
P.S - Check out YouTube for how to wrap the Moby - I found that SO much more helpful than the directions it came with.
This, except insert Boba instead of Ergo.

we also got an Ergo, which DH is a thousand times more excited about...but when she's a newborn, we've been told we can't use the Ergo. (?)
You can - you just need the infant insert

My husband totally rocks the Snugglie with each of our babies.
I think he likes it because it is sturdier for his body and he trusts the baby to be secure in it. He would probably say the same thing yours did if I suggested him to wear the Moby. I would LOVE a Moby BTW. I love baby wearing. They are so sweet and all right there against you. My hubby also has the trail seat that they wear on their back for hiking. He's all kinds of outdoors daddy. But he keeps the snugglie that is adjusted to his size in the back of his Jeep and I keep one in my car that fits me. My advice would probably be to get something for him that snaps easily and he can maneuver at his comfort.
Edited for spelling.

I may or may not be having too much fun with my Moby at my kitty's expense:
LOL... DH mentioned something about getting something a little "sturdier" for him to carry LO in, but I don't think he realizes how much the Ergo and carriers like that run for...
DH didn't use it often but he didn't have a problem wearing it. I didn't like how DS fit in the infant insert for the Ergo so we never used it.
Here is a pic of DH and DS while hiking. DS is about 3 mo old.
Look on YouTube for how to wear the moby and practice with a doll. The directions that came with the moby were pointless.
