Despite all my frustrations these past few days, I had to share something that made my day.
We went to GA this weekend to see my new nephew for the first time (only 4 weeks old!). The entire immediate family of in-laws showed up as well. We were celebrating DH's youngest brother's b-day too. We were sitting around singing Happy Birthday and after he blew out the candles, he said "I know I'm not supposed to tell you my wish, but it was that this BM gets back to you soon and it all works out." He's not super young, but for being a 17 year old boy, I just couldn't believe how sweet and thoughtful that was. It almost brought me to tears!
I hope his birthday wish comes true!!

Yep 17. I wasn't sure if telling this story would sound weird...singing happy b-day to a 17 year old, him making a birthday wish..
The cake they ordered came with Happy Birthday candles so that's probably the only reason he actually blew candles out...as for the birthday wish, he's just a nice boy and he loves being an uncle.
