Simon and James. Middle names TBD.

First thing DH asked after we agreed upon those, was "do we decide who's who now or when they come out??" LOL at first I figured we wait at least until they're born, if not a few hours after we've had time to bond with them. Now I'm already growing weary of calling them "A & B".

What did you do if you found out the sexes before birth?

Also, I shall add, they told me at the scan that I likely won't feel B much because his placenta is anterior, but I just have to say that the lil butthead has had hiccups all morning and it's making me damned bonkers! Can't feel B my ass.

We've been hoping for sons for a few years now lol so we each had a name in mind that we liked a lot, and then we just happened to end up with two babies so we didn't have to argue over who's name pick would be the first and who's would be the middle... now we each get to use our name as a first name, and we have to contemplate middles lol

How cute. They are perfect. I can't wait to hear your middle names. James is on my short list, love it! I have no idea how to decide who is A and B because I had b/g so it was easy.

I can't believe you can already feel hiccups! I think I feel baby B but I keep telling myself it's something else. I cannot wait to feel those little flutters again.

I think its easier for me to tell when they get them because I am on pregnancy 3 and my big ovary is pressed flush against B's side of the uterus.. so the vibration radiates through the ovary. My oldest had constant violent hiccups every few days for months straight, so here's hoping B dosent have them too often lol

Great names! We named alphabetically. First out was H and second out W. This way ill never forget the birth order.

Great names. My girls pretty much stayed in the same spot by the time we named them Baby A was always more laid back, kick less but stronger. We named her Brooke which means water. Baby B was always spinning circles never stopping. We named her Nora which means light. They are the same as they were in womb. Also Brooke has my middle name and she is my mini me.

Great names!

We assigned names in utero. It helped me to bond with them to think of and call them by actual names. It was pretty hilarious to me when someone would ask me how we'd be sure we gave them the right names when they were born, because of our medical issues. I was like, uh, well, Claire will obviously be the one with spina bifida. Now that they're here, I've tried to imagine them with the names reversed and it totally wouldn't work. Claire is clearly Claire, and Etta is clearly Etta.

THIS. But it might be related to me being mildly OCD. LOL!

I chose Audrey and Lydia for their names. Audrey is baby A since she will be delivered first. They will be born in alphabetical order.

I don't really buy into the whole waiting to see who they look like thing. Babies look like babies. If you name him Simon, he will look like a Simon to you.

We decided on one name probably mid 20s. We had a lot of trouble coming up with the other name. We've had 2 girls names picked since we were dating but boys names are a lot harder for us. We didn't pick the second name for sure until 36w when we were told we'd be having the babies within the week. Even before we decided on the names, we knew that we'd wait until birth to decide who looked like which name. They both clearly fit one name and clearly did not look like the other name. I'm glad we didn't name them in utero because I probably would have named them the opposite.

I love those names! James is one of my twins middle names and Simon was on my list too. It took us a while to agree upon names. We assigned names before they were born based on the meanings.

we had a big baby and little baby. I thought the wee one needed a scrappy irish name and had already chose colin or declan. we were in discussions on harrison's name until a few days post birth.

Great names. The first name we were set on was Hudson so we decided that would be baby A right away. The second name took a few more weeks and we decided to name to B Maddox. It also made me feel better that H comes before M in the alphabet, like I made the right choice. I know.. lame reason right? lol
