I'm not into matchy/matchy names for twins so I'll just give you my top two choices for each gender! I love the names Audrey and Eden for girls. It was really hard for us to come up with boy names but right now, my favorites are Gavin and Evan.

I have to switch it up all the time or my hair falls flat. Right now I'm using Nexxus Shampoo and Conditioner (their Frizz Ease line). I have to wash my hair every day or it gets really oily. For hair spray, I love Big Sexy Hair.

How many times have you been in love? Twice. I fell hard for my high school boyfriend and it took me a good 10 years to really get over him.

Have you ever been hit on by a student? Yes. I've been asked to prom many times. Also, each year about a month into classes, I have students do an anonymous survey to evaluate my teaching. I have questions like "Mrs. M teaches at a good pace for me" or "I feel comfortable asking Mrs. M for help." One question says, "Is there anything Mrs. M should know about?" and I've gotten the answer "I think you're hot" many times. Unfortunately, it is often spelled like "your" which makes me cringe!

My standard questions...

If you could pick one meal to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be? Filet mignon with bernaise sauce, potatoes of any kind (although baked and scalloped potatoes are my favorite) and any other vegetable. Pair that with a glass of red wine or a microbeer.

Absolutely. I 100% support a woman's right to choose. I probably would have been a bra- burner back in the day.

On the other hand, in my marriage, we have pretty traditional gender roles. DH makes more money than I do. In terms of household chores, DH cuts the grass and takes out the trash while I do the laundry. But, he does as much cleaning as I do around the house and also cooks as much as I do.

Why do you think so many people have such terrible grammar? I think it is a combination of laziness/not wanting to learn the proper rules, the emergence of online chat, and what students hear at home. I teach in a school system where it is really common for people to say "I seen that" instead of "I have seen that" or "I saw that." They hear their parents say "I seen that" and they believe that's correct no matter how many times I try to teach them otherwise.

What is your favorite book to teach and why? I LOVE teaching Shakespeare's The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet because there are so many misconceptions about it. The kids go in thinking it is a romantic love story and by the end, they realize they are two very troubled teens who made a variety of poor decisions and that the play is largely about violence, not love. I also love pointing out the dirty puns to the kids. They have no idea how sexual and raunchy good ol' Will was!

If you weren't an English teacher, what would yo u be, and why? I love organizing so if I could have a job organizing people's closets, I'd be in heaven. I also would love to have Kelly Ripa's job.

If you could go on vacation tomorrow for one week, all expenses paid, where would you go? Paris, France. It's our next major trip that we are going on. After that, I'd love to cruise around the Greek isles or head to Fiji.

Personally, I don't understand why anyone over the age of 21 is attracted to anyone under the age of 21. I guess that may be the drinker in me talking, though.

Pink or purple? I like both but I wear purple all the time. Pink doesn't work so well on me with my red hair.

Blue or green? I like both too! Man, this is tough! Green used to be my favorite color as a child. I had an imaginary friend with green hair who drove a green car and always parked in my dad's parking spot. LOL!

If you won a room makeover which room would you pick/what would you do to it? I would want to make over our bathroom. We have a small ranch and the bathroom is teeny. We've fixed it up as much as the market will allow us to while still being able to resell later but I have a bright pink tub that needs to go. My dream is to have a big soaker tub. Ahhh!

What is your least favorite/most favorite part of your job? Most favorite part of my job is seeing the kids respond to literature. They assume that everything they read in high school is going to be boring but I get to teach some really great things- The Odyssey, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Romeo and Juliet primarily. I've had kids get so fired up while watching Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet movie because he left out so many good parts of the original play and to me, that is awesome! My least favorite part is dealing with parents who when I call to tell them that their child is failing my class, they will say, "I've tried everything." It never fails that the next day, I'll see that kid with a cell phone or, one time, with a brand new tattoo (said kid was 15 and clearly needed parental permission). No, you haven't tried everything. You don't get a cell phone until you turn in your schoolwork. Why is that such a difficult concept?

What are your "deal breakers" for your marriage? Or do you believe anything can be worked through? Cheating is a deal breaker for both of us. I just don't see why people stray. All marriages go through rough times but if it is so bad that you have to turn to someone else, it cannot be repaired. At least for us. I could never forgive that.

Top or bottom, take that as you wish! Bottom. I don't like to do the work. In life, though, I like to be the one on top- the leader. I'm always trying to be innovative at work and take charge.

I totally agree with you about well, everything! Ha. But definitely the cheating. I couldn't see ever getting over it. My bio dad cheated on my mom when she was pregnant with me. It's been over 22 years and she is still not over it, at all.

I am so sorry to hear about that happening to your mom. I have two close friends/family members who recently cheated on their wives when they were pregnant. It is bad enough to cheat but to do it while they are pregnant is an all time low.
