My girls are almost 3 & 5.. I was thinking about getting them the PBK Anywhere Chairs for Christmas as I recently got a 15% off code for PBK.. Are they worth the $85 each?? Is 5 getting too old for the regular sized one?
We have one and I am honestly not overly impressed with it. IMO it is really overpriced. We bought the oversized one, b/c my friend has the regular one and it would be really small for a 5 year old. The name stitching is already coming off one of the covers after only a year. Not to mention an extra cover was over $40.
In hindsight, I would have done a bit more research to see if there was a better option out there.
We love ours. DD sits in it all the time. I got it for her for her 1st birthday. My 10 year old niece loves it too, so I think your 5 year old would be happy with the regular size. The cover washes very well too.
I say do it!

The girls loved theirs. We actually got DD1 hers when she turned 5 and she fits in it just fine. DH and I fit it in it too. They like to sit in them and read books and watch movies. I think they are worth it especially at that price.

I had mine monogrammed here (not through PBK) and they screwed up and sent me an extra cover for free. I got mine with the secret sale they had last year so it was like $85 shipped. I've read that you can get the cover from PBK and just get the insert on ebay cheaper. When I bought mine, I think with shipping and everything, the cost would have been about the same so I went with PBK. So glad I did (since I got that extra cover for free).

This has been my main gripe with anythign PBK. I have given the monogrammed Boppy cover to a few friends for showers, etc. and I have one too. The name stitching started to come off after 1 months of use.
I really want to love PBK but just feel that the quality of their stuff does not justify the prices they charge.
DS doesn't use his very often tbh. And he prefers to sit on the regular couch, big chairs, etc. at this point, so at your daughters' age, I wouldn't personally bother.
DD loves hers. I wish I'd gotten it for her sooner. We got the regular sized one and it fits her great with room to grow. I've washed her cover numerous times and haven't had any issues with the stitching coming off.

I had a local shop do the monogram and the stitching is coming off too.

Yes, but their customer service is awesome. I emailed when the stitching starting coming loose on ours, and had a new one--- completely free --- in under a month.
I love our Anywhere chair and will be getting one for the new baby too. I think it's totally worth the money, especially since I can sit in it comfortably (and we only have the regular size).
I guess technically now I should be SecondBabyMomma
I don't know that I want to spend the money on a PBK one. C would probably be just as happy on a bean bag chair or one of those cheapo fold out ones. He is very happy just pulling couch cushions off and burrowing between them, so he may not get one at all.
