Standing hands-free

Alex wants to walk and stand all the time now. His newest trick is to just let go of my hands when he's standing somewhere. He gets this really focused look on his face and sticks his arms out to the sides and balances himself, it's totally awesome to watch! 

The longest he stood by himself before falling over was 22 seconds, but the average is more like 15. I have a feeling that he will skip crawling, since he still has no intention of trying this!

    That's awesome! Go Alex. :) C is good holding on with only one hand, but whenever he tries both he falls on his butt. He is crawling & really getting around the house now though! It's crazy how much he's learned in the past two weeks.

    I know, right? It amazes me to see what he learns every day. And he is so proud of himself, too!

    Sounds like you were busy with baby-proofing your house! They are just getting into everything if we would let them! :-)

    Thats awesome! J is starting to do the same thing, he needs to work on his balance but he's getting there :0) Can't believe how fast our little ones are growing!

    Wow!  Go Alex.  He is going to be walking soon.  dS is standing up on everything but hasn't let go yet.  I can't believe our babies are growing up so quickly!
