For all the ladies who want to look cute on the official day, just thought I would share. I found this disposable labor and delivery gown on amazon and I just got it in today. I feel great in it and looks super cute. I won't be in a hospital because I will be having my baby in a birthing center, but I knew I didn't want to be naked (personal preference) and so I was going to go with the sports bra and skirt. But then I found this and it's great. The dress is cute and I just keep thinking about post baby pics with mama. This was a great idea. Check it out:https://www.amazon.com/Pretty-Pushers-Disposable-Delivery-Limited/dp/B004OPZMN2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1345663241&sr=8-1&keywords=labor+and+delivery+gown There are other colors, I just chose the more affordable one : )
$25 is a heck of a lot of money to spend on something you're going to bleed on and probably take off before the whole thing is over anyway. And seriously, once you're in labor, you totally don't care about looking cute or being naked.
hahaha! You're kidding, right? I mean part of natural birth is being au natural; giving birth in your birthday suit! I think I stripped down an hour after getting to my midwife's house/birthing center and had my rainbow blanket if I got cold. I still don't understand why women are so concerned about being naked in front of other people. Everyone is going to see your vagina while you are laboring that baby out... what's some boobs and a butt thrown into the mix!?!

Bump mobile does not agree with my phone go figure.
Completely agree with pp I quoted above. With dd I was so hot and uncomfortable during transition and on I ended up naked with my husband running back and firth getting cold rags to try and cool me off. I can tell you from experience the last thing you will be thinking about in labor is how cute you look. You will just want lo safely and will do whatever keeps you most comfortable in the process.
I wore hospital gowns most of my stay as well. I went through at least a handful of them from the bleeding. Better off saving the money and spending it on something cute for baby!
