Anyone deliver at Huntsville Hospital?

I'm putting together my packing list for the hospital and I know different places provide different things...

Just curious what Huntsville Hospital will give you when you're there for birth? I don't want to pack diapers, pads, etc. if the hospital will give them to us. Also, do they charge for these things? I've heard that some hospitals will send you an itemized bill afterwards and I'd rather avoid that if at all possible.

Yes, I did back in May. They give you pads, mesh panties, diapers, wipes, baby brush, aspirator, peri bottle, etc. They also provide blankets, burp cloths, newborn hat (you're not supposed to take those home except the hat). I'm probably forgetting something. I don't know if they charge for those things because my insurance paid for everything. I didn't get any bills at all. My guess is that it's included in the cost of the hospital stay, but I may be wrong.

I did in July and I had a great experience!! Basically they give you everything the PP has mentioned. As far as I know (I was on the 5th floor) the well baby nursery lets you dress them in clothes from home during your stay--so I had DH bring me extra clothes for him--I had fun with it, we had matching mommy and me gowns. Bella Babies does the hospital photos and their website mentioned that you may want to bring a special blanket to wrap LO in for their photos--you can see and buy the photos right away. The nurses gave me plenty of supplies to take home. If you run out of anything while there just ask and they will bring it to you, no problem. I have not had a problem with being billed for the extra stuff and I stayed 3 weeks because I had complications after my C Section.
