Work has been insane lately (my former company is still in the process of going under - they have maybe 4 weeks left I am guessing) and so I started a new part time job and will also be subsitute teaching to make up the difference.
On top of that I am studying for my Series 7, which is a 15-20 hour per week time committment for 16 weeks. It's a lot to stuff in my brain, but so far it's going well. I can't wait till I'm done though. ![]()
Also, in the last month LO has had HFM and a nasty cold which she spread to DH and I. Our house is a constant chorus of sneezing and coughing!
And of course, LO is determined to start the terrible 2's early because she is pushing every boundary and testing every limit lately.
I do lurk every now and then to check in on everyone and I miss having the time to "chat" more...
If you feel like things are busier lately - what's been going on? Job stuff? Kid stuff? Selling a house?

Re: I miss bumping - who's been super busy lately?
I was venting to DH about being so busy this summer, especially in the last several weeks.
I swore my calendar was very empty end of may and june... not sure what happened, but I have been going non-stop since we got back from vacation on July 27th.
Between work commitments, Auxiliary commitments, family and friend gatherings we haven't had a weekend day free of any travel or commitment. I also have been baking a lot for these parties, as my cupcakes have become popular among family and friends.
Yesterday was the first Saturday in I don't know how long where I didn't have to be up and anywhere, although we had a family party in the afternoon, I stayed up late Friday to bake, so I had absolutely nothing to do in the morning other then relax and hang out with LO... we remained low key, watched the Lorax, had lunch and then napped.
Trying to keep today low key as well, just hung around the house this morning then ran some errands when DD went down for nap.
Tomorrow I am up extra early to volunteer at the funeral of an officer the was killed in an attempted robbery when leaving work last weekend. I have to be at the church by 7am, and I will be helping till at least 4pm or so, then a Board meeting for my Auxiliary tomorrow night.
I will say, this is the first fall that in 4 years that I won't be bombarded with evenings away from DH and DD since I switched jobs, I am excited to not be out 3-4 nights a week.
With everything settling down, I hope to get back on track with losing weight, considering going back to school for my masters, and TTC.
And it's tough juggling one kid who has a routine with one who you never really know when they are going to eat or sleep next. Not to mention the whole waking up every 2 to 3 hours at night.
But luckily I've been able to keep up with bumping a bit posting from my iPod when I'm nursing. It is seriously what keeps me sane some days. Even though the new mobile site sucks.
OOOOH, mastitis is the WORST.
Well hi there!
Work is kicking my rear too. My manager took off for two weeks with one days notice. Apparently her daughter (who got accepted into law school) can't actually move into an apartment without mommy's help (for 2 weeks! at the last minute!). So I'm doing her job, plus my job, plus my team is pulling off two days of training this week. And I'm on call this week and over labor day weekend. Ugh.
BFP #2 5/27/12. EDD 2/1/13. m/c and D&C 6/21/12.
I am, because I go back to school next week, and I realized that I still had a to-do list about a mile long! Apparently "all summer" isn't really enough time to do everything!
You definitely have a lot going on!
I feel like things have been chaotic here, too. Just had a baby on 8/1, then ended up back in the hospital for a ruptured appendix / surgery on 8/14! Had to be away from my girls for 4 days and then had another near-week of recovery time at home where I couldn't lift DD1.
Between the newborn and the whiny toddler, my days are pretty busy.
I'm feeling much better from my postpartum and appendectomy recoveries, but work is picking up now that the university I edit for is back in session. Not much time to Bump these days, for sure!
You are sooo NOT alone!
This kid keeps me quite busy. Between her, the new house and my cake pop business...I am exhausted!
DD is running on empty right now and refusing to go to bed. She'd better go to sleep soon before mommy has a break down!
I haven't been on in about a month, really, because we just moved and I started my new job. DH was looking for a job here until a few days ago (woohoo!) so we've also been struggling with financial issues related to the move/transition/loss of income. I only just now came on to post a desperate "why is DS waking up so early?" post. Oh and before you read this and say it's related to the move, let me just say that he was doing great for the first few weeks here and then decided to start waking up too early just recently.
I am very excited about my new job, though, as much as uprooting the family has been unpleasant. I think DH's position will be really good as well...I'm hoping.
