Hey Ladies,
My DH and I are heading to Albertville and Minneapolis for the long weekend and I was wondering if any of you know of other stores that I could shop at for maternity stores other than Motherhood Maternity or Thyme. We already have those in Canada, but I am hoping to find some good deals that won't cost $40 just for a shirt and $70 for a pair of pants. And I hope this isnt asking too much, but I also hope to find some fall styles. I have googled like crazy, but only MM seems to pop up.... I am sure someone out there knows a few more nooks and crannies for this.
Thank you so much in advance if you can please share some gems.
Re: Maternity clothes shopping trip
I think Old Navy has the best value (money spent vs. quality of clothes) though their in-store selections are not that great. Everything is on the website.
I've really liked the mat. pants that I've gotten at JCPenney. Their "house brand" is Duo and they fit me well.
Gap is great but the most expensive and has the least amount of sale/clearance.
IMO, Motherhood stuff sucks.
Are you going to the Mall of America? They do have a lot of selections (I know Old Navy has a mat. section and there is a Destination Maternity) but you might not find the best sales...since the MOA is such a destination, they don't have to have the kinds of sales that regular stores have. Good luck!

I've been snagging a lot from the clearance section of Japanese Weekend. Appropriate enough to wear to work and cute enough to wear on weekends. I have yet to pay more than $19.99 for anything I have purchased from there and the quality is much better than MM, IMHO.
