All I can do is wait...and cry

Yesterday I was having some back pain. Felt like I had pulled something on my right side. I came home, took my progestrone pill, and laid down. I had no spotting or bleeding so I felt ok. At around 4 I woke up with real back cramps like a period. When I went to the bathroom I passed to clots. They were fairly small and there was not a lot of blood, but I knew it wasn't good. I rushed myself to the ER (My fiance is in a differnt city for his bacheloer party and we get married this Saturday.

At the hospital they tested my HCG. It doubled since Thursday (was 3545 now is in the 6000), but the ER Doc said this was not where they want it to be. I had an ultra sound and the g-sac is there but is measuring behind (I should be six weeks tomorrow but measuring 5w1d). THe measuring is concerning because when I was really 5w1d I had some very brief brownish spotting on the tissue. During the pelvic exam the doctor said he saw a significant amount of blood (but I'm not seeing spotting when I wipe anymore or when I pee).

Basically, all I can do is wait. Wait until the middle of next week to see if my HCG goes up. It really sucks because I just convinced my FI to tell his mother since I told my mother. Also, I just started feelling the pregnancy symptoms everyone else said they felt-sore breast, m/s...I'm praying really hard, but I don't want to get my hopes up...I really really wanted this baby.

If you have the pregnancy symptoms you might be okay. I have been spotting for 2.5 weeks I also passed (just one) a blood clot last week. Hang in there. Maybe stay in bed as much as possible until you visit the doctor next. I have constant back pain because of my job and back pain is common in pregnancy especially the first trimester because of the round ligaments growing.

UGH! I'm so sorry you have to deal with this!!!! Especially with your FI out of town.

Im so sorry for you. This happened to me with my first. I also went to the ER and they said baby was measuring behind and no heartbeat. Doc said my levels were on "the very low end" of what they wanted to see. I was devestated and was sure that I had miscarried. However all ended up fine! Just pray pray pray! That is basically all I spent my time doing between crying;;( I also said a prayer for you!
