Toddler-sized pillowcases?

s/o what's in your baby's crib....S doesn't have a pillow, but is really into them lately, so I ordered a small one for him. Where do you buy smaller than standard-size pillowcases, without having to buy the entire sheet set?

Are you crafty or know anyone who can sew? I just sewed my own and put a couple snaps on it so it would stay on. Took less than 20 min....

I used to sew, but it's been forever -

Did you start with fabric, hem one end & do two side seams, or somehow retrofit a standard-sized pillowcase? And where did you put the snaps?

The toddler pillow I bought at Target came with a pillowcase. I wonder if they sell them separately?

Hazel just uses a standard size pillow. We haven't had any problems with it.

I just make them. Cut a long piece of fabric a little bigger than your pillow (when it's folded in half.) Hem both ends. Turn inside out and stitch both sides (one end is folded). Turn right side out. You have a pillow case!

We bought a travel sized pillow at Walmart and then my crafty mom retrofitted a standard pillowcase down to fit it.

We use a travel size pillow from Walmart and bought the pillow case to go with it...I think it was only like a buck or two, not very expensive at all.

Eh, I can't sew at all really. We bought one from PBK. You can buy them separately without the sheet set. We bought the pillow from there too but it was really too poofy for his neck so I bought a cheapy flat toddler pillow from Ikea and it is much better. They have really, really inexpensive toddler bedding sets that have the pillowcases too.

This is how I made mine too. I googled tutorial for toddler pillow case since I'm new to the sewing world. I just attached 2 snaps to the opening so A wouldn't take off the pillow case but he would probably be fine without the snaps he doesn't really mess with them.

Ikea sells toddler pillows and pillowcases that are cheap. DS' pillow is one of the two pillows that came with the futon we bought at Ikea. It's a nice smallish size and came with a pillowcase.
